A wonderful example of a very solid Folk Art Mid 19th Century Bench or Settle, originating from the Catalan Area of Spain. We believe to be made from a Fruit Wood or Chestnut, having a rich colour and patina. Very solid in it,s construction with no signs of damage or repair.
Probably one of the best examples of a 19th C bench we have had.
